Year 4’s Egyptian adventure

Year 4 had an exciting day studying Ancient Egyptian sculptures and artifacts at the British Museum. First we visited the sculptures gallery to look at statues which were thousands of years old. We even saw the famous Rosetta Stone. Then we went upstairs to look at items from Ancient Egypt which helped us to understand how people lived in Ancient Egyptians times. We saw many different mummies including the very special mummy called Ginger. Everyone had a fantastic time being historians for the day.

After a tour of the castle Year 4 took part in a workshop on what life would have been like in a Tudor Court. Despite the rain Year 4 had a great time in the maze, grotto and play area before returning home.
