Reception head to Greenwich Park

Last term, Reception took a transport trip to Greenwich Park. We walked, got the bus twice, rode the DLR and saw a ship! We had such a fun time playing in the park as well!

Have a look at some of our pictures.

Teddy Bear Picnic

In our first term in Reception, we have been learning all about bears. We have learnt that there our lots of different types of bears such as brown bears, polar bears and panda bears but our favourite bear has to be our teddy bears!

We took our teddies to the park for a picnic. Then we put our bears to sleep while we had a play. Have a look at the pictures to see what we got up to.

Off to the Fire Station

This term we have been learning about transport.

We were very lucky as we got to visit Millwall Fire Station to learn all about how a fire-engine works. We saw all of the different pieces of equipment, including the very tall ladder on the top of the engine.

A big thank you to the fire-fighters for showing us around.

Festivals and Celebrations

In Reception class, we have been learning all about different things that people around the country and the world celebrate and remember. We have learnt about Diwali, Bonfire Night, Hanukkah, Remembrance Day and Christmas. Have a look at some of our work from the term.
